Fortunately, this is about to change!
As we allllll know, General Conference is coming up! And I will have the amazing opportunity to attend the Sunday morning session! Woooooo hooooo!!!!

As you can tell, I'm extremely excited. =)

So these are plans as far as I know. Leave either Thursday or Friday, drive 12 hours, get there, do a ton of site seeing for however many days we are there, go to conference on sunday, and leave directly afterwards. Yes, you can see I don't know the trip detail for detail, but it will definately be awesome!!!Paigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-80047051291395164882012-01-30T12:22:00.000-08:002012-01-30T12:31:22.706-08:00I'm Addicted......So, about a month, I ran out an important necessity that every girl needs.... and I had heard of this new product, so I though, eh, sure. I'm a sucker for stratigic marketing.....

Okay, so this stuff is like..... how do I put this........ AMAZING?! I was thoroughly surprised at how awesome Maybelline's Baby Lips turned out to be. I got the Peppermint babylips in the line-green tube, and I used it all up in about a month. It goes on like butter, and keeps your lips moisturized and awesome. I just bought my second tube today. I must say, I'm addicted.

Paigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-27189178477646480342012-01-28T23:17:00.000-08:002012-01-28T23:22:24.122-08:00Some insight? So, BIG NEWS! Tomorrow, at exactly four o'clock, I go in to receive my patriarchal blessing! Whooooo hooooo!

I'm super duper excited, mostly because it will hopefully give me some insight to some of the things I'm gonna do with my life, which would be fantastic. I'm sorta confused a lil' about that one, but hey, at least SOMEONE knows whats up.

And tomorrow he's gonna let me in on some of it. =DPaigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-76091414312769159052012-01-25T18:45:00.000-08:002012-01-25T19:04:22.008-08:00It Burns!!!So, I have set a new goal for myself. In reality, no one reads this blog, but if you do, and you want to join in with me on this little goal of mine, feel free!

GOAL?!

Run! Run run run!

My personal goal for myself is to run a mile, just one, every day after school. Yes. Every week day. I excluded weekends just for fun. =D

And in case you are a nosy freak who has to know everything about me (JK!) I'll tell you what originally sparked this almost mental idea.

About a week ago (a week ago today, in fact!) we had to run the mile in P.E. I was so scared I almost cried. In fact, I think a tear or two ran down my cheek while no one was watching. Eeeek! I was petrified that because of my knees, hips, and sometimes weird ankles, I wouldn't be able to finish the "fitness test." And it wasn't without hesitation that I stepped up to the starting line on my high school's track. When she blew that whistle, it was that "Oh crap" moment that we all have sometimes. But I ran. I pushed and I pushed myself to keep going. But that only lasted about 15 seconds... It turned out that I had to jog the long sides of the track and walk off the excruciating cramps on the bends. Still, at exactly 11 minutes, I crossed the finish line. 4 laps around the track. There were still girls behind me, but I wanted to be able to do better.

Another reason to run a whole mile every day mon-fri is because I have Trek this summer! It will be so fun! Still, I understand that it was take a hard toll on me everyday physically, and because I have some extra strengthening to do in pretty much every joint in my body below the waist, I need to train NOW. I also need that strength in general, so that will be good. =)

Another plus? Nice legs man. Who doesn't want to have some of those? ;)

I have already been running. In fact, the other day, I nearly jogged a whole mile all the way through WITHOUT STOPPING. You have no clue how huge that is. =)

Unfortunately, my running will be put off until next week. I fell on my knee Ice Skating at our Priest Laurel activity, and then it started acting up. =( The chiropractor said I strained one of the ligaments, but he did something thats supposed to help, and he says that running will help with everything a whole lot!

Soooooooo. yeah. I'm gonna run. =DPaigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-52830391300312528852012-01-15T15:58:00.000-08:002012-01-15T16:26:17.255-08:00Venting and Ranting.2011 Was a hard year, a year for growing, and in the end, very rewarding. God has his mysterious ways of bending and twisting people from ordinary people to great men and women who will become amazing tools in his hands to bring to pass his works. Things happen, both good and bad, that change people and families, and teach us lessons. We have to learn to laugh together, as well as cry together and bear one another's burdens. We have friends who pick us up and carry us along in ways unimaginable. The Lord has put people in my own path who have helped me to grow in his ways even more so than I already have. He is certainly watching out for me, and for that, I am thankful. And while I witnessed many heartaches this year, I stuck with the Lord. I never lost faith that he knows exactly what he was doing, and that with him, nothing is impossible. If God told me to do something unimaginable, such as moving a mountain or draining the ocean, I know that I would be able to do it, because he would be right there to give me the power to do so. These last few years, I have felt like my body is failing me, falling apart like it should in my fifties, and I'm only sixteen! Bad knees, hips, back, neck, weak ankles, and who knows what the heck else. I am reminded of in the scriptures where it is talking about the word of wisdom, and the Lord says if we will abide by it, then "ye shall run and not be weary, and shall walk and not faint." And maybe there is more to it than eating healthy for me, but I have been given a blessing that later in my life, I will not be affected by the condition of my knees now. I know that if I do my part and follow the Lord's counsel and the spirit for me personally, this won't give me problems later in life, and that is an extremely comforting feeling.
I feel like I have personally grown in many ways, but I have a long way to go before I am anything like Christ is. "There is still alot of work to do, but with the Lord, how can I fail?"Paigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-35634014070730355962011-08-22T21:02:00.000-07:002011-08-22T21:13:59.578-07:00Swing Dancing =DSo recently, me and my awesome friend, Tom, have been practicing Swing Dancing! He taught me how to swing dance at one of the youth dances a few years back and I've been really liking it ever since. But we would only get to dance at the dances, so at the last dance about a month ago, Tom says "Hey, we should start practicing this and come to the next dance with something awesome!" Well, something along those lines. And that's exactly what we have been doing. At their house we pull the dinning table out of the kitchen and have this great big space to practice. It's been soooo fun. They posted a video on their blog and you can see that here: oursimpletreasures.blogspot.com

warning: this was the very beginning of our practicing, so we are a bit rusty. We've added some more stuff. And aslo in the video dancing with Tom is their Aunt who actually took lessons, so we were teaching her and she was teaching us, so that was way fun!

And it's true. I am. I notice the little things, and you'll know it when I'm laughing when no one else in the room is. (maybe I'm just weird like that (=) But it's always the little things that make my day.

Like eyelashes.

Perfectly curled eyelashes.

My eyelashes can be crazy. I am very perticular when it comes to my eyelashes. But most of the time, they just don't look right. Like some won't curl, and others will curl too much, and others will curl and turn upside down so they are poking me in the eye! But some days, they curl perfectly. And it totally makes my day great,

=)
Paigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-86105035596623612032011-06-07T01:36:00.000-07:002011-06-07T01:49:31.506-07:00It is 1:35 amI can't sleep like a human being anymore! I can't sleep in past 7, which really stinks. Then I find myself napping all through the afternoon, so I'm not tired in the wee hours of the morning (yes, I just said that). And it's driving me insane! I love taking naps, but I love sleeping in just a tiny bit! It's just sad.
On saturday morning I went and got my permit! I originally went in on friday afternoon, but I got real nervous during the test and totally failed. Well, not TOTALLY. I was two questions away from passing. I literally went the next morning and got a hundred. I just had to remind myself that I knew the material and to not psych myself out. So yeah. And since then I have been learning to drive. Important notes:

- Listen to your sister when she tells you not to scare Dad because he's old. wisdom behind the words.

- Don't get nervous when a flock of birds are in the road. Dad will freak and spill some fun words

-Don't hystarically laugh at the wheel because you just heard that come out of your dad's mouth. (he was laughing too, in my defense) You might drive off the road. (not that I did!)

-Don't try to take turns at 35mph, especially when you're driving mom's monster.

*yay for no wrecks in these past interesting days!Paigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-17780988784607629252011-05-19T22:31:00.000-07:002011-05-19T22:41:07.661-07:00Because of Xanny =PHey blogger world. It has been a few months since my last post. Today (well, about fifteen minutes ago) I got an awesome email from Xanny. At the very end, she reminded me to update my blog. Not wanting to disappoint, here I am!
Well, today was a big day. It was my final day as a Freshman! Holy cow! The year has gone by so fast, but so ssssssllllllooooowww at the same time. It was a really great year. I got to make alot of new friends and meet new people, and it was just an awesome experience.
One of the highlights of my year was dance class.
I don't know when my interest in dance really started, but since then, I had really been looking forward to my second semester in which I would start dance. It was super fun, and I plan to continue with all of the dance classes my school offers. I learned alot, and in April, we had to do a show, which was a great experience. Dancing in front of 300 people. Yikes!
This was Blackout, from the broadway musical In the Heights. Oye que paso! Just kidding. Only slightly.

It all started on this day:
Chels and I decided to go on an adventure in the rain. Shortly thereafter, Haley and Kenz joined in on the fun. We decided to just have fun in the rain. I forgot my loving jacket, because I'm just that smart.
We really were having fun. It is always fun being sopping wet outside, literally! But it was so cold I couldn't feel my arms. Then I fell in a puddle. I think thats whar did it.
The next night, I was back at the G. house watching Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, when I started coughing. Loveliness.
After that, I just got worse. I was sick all that week and the week after that, and a few days into this week. We did go to Urgent Care a week ago, and the doctor gave me soem antibiotics and cough meds, and that calmed down the whole thing. Mom thinks I had pnemonia (lovely right?) and so the doctor didnt say anything, he just gave me the meds, and it worked.
There was some good things about the past few weeks! The D. fam were here for Fonzi and Ariels wedding day, and boy, was that a long day! Fun though! I sure missed them all!
So I'm FINALLY feeling better just in time for spring break. San Diego with the G. family? So, what's new in my life? Hmm, well, here are a few randoms.

I am pretty much obsessed with this show. SORRY! I heard it would make a certain person *cough* Xan *cough* Happy if I posted on this ancient thing, so I am!

Lots of new things going on. I Just graduted 8th grade (yay!) and so in a few weeks I start high school (yay....)

This summer hasn't been too busy. We have Girls camp the monday after we got out of school, so that part was over quickly. I've just been hanging out with friends, babysitting, and sitting on Facebook! With all of that time, I could have totally written on this thing. MY BAD! I'll try and work on it, but if it's a while before I do this again, don't be surprised.... Just Kidding! I may try....

=)Paigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-20246907213874767552009-09-24T21:48:00.000-07:002009-09-24T21:56:08.885-07:00Yay!So, guess what? Two months and 4,100 pages later, today I finished the Harry Potter series! YAY! They were awesome books! Seeing as I have nothing better to do with my boring life, I'm reading them again. I know! But after knowing what happens and having a few questons answered, I can look at the story a different angle. It's pretty fun, and who cares if I'm reading a story again. I'll probably still get excited at good parts and laugh at funny parts!Paigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-17051373062726413302009-08-19T17:08:00.000-07:002009-08-19T17:13:26.609-07:00UpdateSo I haven't written in 3 weeks, an NO I didn't fall off the face of the earth. I just didn't write for some reason... Anyways things are good. School started a few weeks ago and it's pretty good. I have my friend, Aly, in my class, which was a sigh of relief because most of my school friends moved to different schools last year.

Also, since it's been a while, I thought I'd let you know that I finished the second book of Harry Potter, got the third one at Barnes and Noble, finished it, ordered the rest of the books and I just finished the fourth one. YAYPaigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-46463408498844810062009-07-28T23:05:00.000-07:002009-07-28T23:14:07.062-07:00...Ok, after the new Harry Potter came out, I went into a bit of a craze! I've watched all the movies like a billion times, and I started the first book last Monday, finished it Thursday or Friday, started the second book, and I'm pretty close to finishing it, too! I'm hoping to go and buy the rest of the books at Barnes and Noble or something so i can finish reading them. When I get into those books, I find myself reading at hours on end! It's like reading a whole different story, because in the movies, they cut everything out and in the books, they go further into the story, and sometimes, you find things out the they don't say in the movies that would've been nice to know! Why do I love these books so much? I don't know!

If you don't like reading (most the time I don't! Which it pretty sad) look for something you're into! You'll find it alot more fun and interesting!Paigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-68084662594195491572009-07-18T23:10:00.001-07:002009-07-18T23:32:24.368-07:00HARRY POTTER!Today we went and saw Harry Potter! Recently, I've been watching the movies alot, so I was really excited to watch one that was new. It's funny how in the previews they say something about the movie and put certain scenes togother to make it look like it's going to be different than what it turns out to be. Anyways, it was a really long movie, but I enjoyed it. There are some parts where you're just like WHAT?!?!?!?! And at the end it didn't end of the movie, it just leaves you hanging like WHATS GONNA HAPPEN NEXT?! Anyways it was pretty cool. I'd give it an eight or maybe a nine out of ten.Paigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-29736795111276928042009-07-13T16:36:00.000-07:002009-07-13T17:24:01.569-07:00Girls Camp Continued
These are pretty much random pictures from camp, but excuse me for not taking pictures of event during girls camp but ones when I had my camera. I din't know what to say about this one.

So now that you've seen this pictures from camp, I'll tell you about it. Monday I got up at 4:30 AM and got ready to go. The Buses were supposed to leave from the church and 6:30, but when that time came we found out they went to the wrong church building. So we waited around for forever. Then they finally come and we get on the bus.

When we finally got to camp, the got off the bus and they took our stuff out of the buses. then we had to walk a ways and across a bridge to accually get to Orchard camp. Imagine walking up and down hills and across bridges with a big bag full of stuff, a pillow full of stuff we needed during the buss ride and a sleeping bag, all in ONE trip. It wasn't the eaisest task in the world, but none of us died, so it worked out ok.

So we get there, decorate our cabin, ate lunch, and went to our first class, which was first aid. Then we went to music, scripture study, then dinner. That night was the Values Pagent. Then we looked at the stars. I wasn't feeling good that night at all and all I wanted to do was go to bed.

Tuesday Morning we had Crafts and Service classes. In crafts we made cute keychains, and in service we glued on patches for a certain type of quilt we were making for a womens shelter. That afternoon we did spa day, and you saw the nice picture of Brother W. with ask on his face and braids in his hair. We did pedicures, hair nails and face mask that day. That night we did a movie. It was cool, but I forget the name of it.

On Wednesday we had nature and sports. In nature we did something thats kinda like a scavender hunt with GPS's. We had to find water, a hill a big rock and a garden. Ours was the hardest and we came in second place. Not bad. That afternoon, we did team building sports. The first thing we did was where you stand on a platform thing that is on tubes and you have to stand in it and roll it to a certain place. The second thing we did was you stand on a sheet thing and you all have to stand on it and somehow flip it over whitout getting off. The third thing we did was there were a bunch of triangle things (i dont know how to describe it) kinda like a net hanging in the air and each person has to get through it and each triangle can only be used once so people have to lift you up and help you through and the person that went before you kinda has to catch you. The fourth this we did was we threws hatchets and knives at tree stumps. The fitch this was the spool. It was a giant spool in the air and it spins and you have to go over it. And the Sixth this we did was the wall. This thing was well over 10 feet high and you have to climb over it but there was nothing to hold on to so your team mates had to lift you up by your feet and the person that went before you had to help pull you up. For the last person, we had to hold on to 2 people legs while they went over the wall head first to reach for the last person. That one was my favorite. Also that night we did the Hot rod program, which was basicly the iron rod. So they blind folded us and we had to follow the rod and people would try to get us off by saying come with me I'll help you around the big rock coming up ahead or something. And at the ened there was a christmas tree with handouts and cd's on it. For all of the girls this was an unforgetable experience.

On Thursday was our hike. We climbed to the top of Mount Meg, Thats the tall one by camp. its was rocky and slippery and scary, especially coming down. SO SCARY! That night was bishops night. Dad had to do bushops night fear factor. they fed him baby food, made them do an ice cream eating race and made them shove s many marshmellows in their mouths and they could fit and say Fluffy Bunny. That Night was our skits too, and in ours, i was Darth vader. I got a few laughs. But I have to say, 1st ward skit was pretty funny when it said "Wait, that's not a wolf, IT'S JACOB"(you know from twilight) and everyone laughed.

The next day we came home!

This year was awesome, and I'm really excited to go back and sad its over.

Paigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-3525370391098259432009-07-12T20:59:00.000-07:002009-07-13T16:35:58.951-07:00Tribute to Keith (our old 98' Toyota Corolla) Yes, I know... Keith is a car. But he was an awesome car. Are family got this car when I was like 3, and it was our family car for ages! My mom drove it, then my dad drove it to work, then they gave it to Kim. Then we had to get a new bumber (I'll try not to tell too many stories). Poor Keith. We recenty sold Keith. It was hard, even Kim cried. I still remember getting stuck between the seats of that darn cramped car when I was 4. Fighting over the ONE cup holder with Kim when we stopped for lunch on long trips. I would post old picture of me and Keith (me getting stuck between Keith's seats and balling my eyes out. Hey, I was 4!). I miss ya Keith!

Yes, it's pretty lame I don't have much to talk about, but I'm sure this was somewhat interesting!

Paigehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16654760172936268361noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119797637235316654.post-54910152541784577852009-07-11T23:13:00.000-07:002009-07-11T23:21:53.086-07:00So Cute These are my Neicey Weiceys, Natalie and Hartley.
